97 Hewitt Avenue, Toorak Gardens 5065 Attunga was a mansion built by Benjamin Burford in 1900 on 4.5 acres in the area that became known as the suburb of Toorak Gardens. The mansion was sold and in 1944, almost forty years later, Attunga was donated to the Burnside Council, for use as a hospital, with the stipulation that the house and gardens be preserved.
